Works Cited Page / Internal Citations Checklist


Did you....

• Indent the second line
• Cite all of your sources in your text with internal citations
• Use only author's last name and page number in the internal citation
• Cite all information that did not come from your own brain (unless it is considered common knowledge)
  
• Put your sources in alphabetical order by first entry
• Include both the date of creation/update and the date you accessed the web pages 
• Put a period at the end of each entry
• Check the MLA Style Guide carefully for proper punctuation
• Make sure that your sources are good quality, credible sites (see Internet and Credibility)
