• Think of a question that relates to a topic we have studied.  Check in your book, then do a little search of the internet.  If your question is one that is not answered in the book, internet, or class, then you may ask this question.

• Go to one of the websites that allows you to submit questions to a scientist and submit your question.  You may find your own web site or use one of the following links (you must be connected online for the following links to work).
• Ask the experts at Scientific American! -

• Only "the best" questions get answered. - No individual e-mails are sent. 
• MadSci Network -

• Claims to answer your question within 2 weeks

• This site provides links to "Ask an expert" sites.  Some may not be active and all have different formats.

• When your question is answered, forward a copy of that e-mail to me.  If the answer is posted on a message board instead of directly e-mailed to you, send me a link to your question on the message board.  My e-mail address is djarrow@wyasd.k12.pa.us.
  

Words of Wisdom :

• Look at the web site to see if  it has been updated recently.  There are some of the "Ask an expert" sites that are still up, but not active anymore.  Other web sites may take months before answering questions.  Be sure to choose one with a quick response time.
